Pre-Race Routine and Warm-Up:
Spent the night at Karen and Ryan's so I didn't have to do the drive in the am...very nice! :) Met up with all the ladies and a few of our cheerleaders. Did some stretching and then went to line up.

Performance Comments:
I ran the race with Cindy and tried to help her break 50 minutes. We had a strong pace throughout the race, but as always, that bridge kills you on the way back and then the hill up the road once you get to the bottom of the bridge...relentless! :) But great race overall!

What Would You Do Different?
I was happy with this race...I usually do it for fun and try to pace someone else.

Post Race Activities and Cool Down:
Tried to get our race shirts since we couldn't get them the day before...only larges left. :( Tried to find out Cindy's actual finish time since she was somehow missing from the results posted. After all that, drank a Shotz, ate a Clif Bar and went to meet a client to bike.

Event Comments:
This is one of my favorite races! It's such a positive environment and I love seeing all the woman of various ages, fitness levels and backgrounds come out to participate.
