Pre-Race Routine and Warm-Up:
Up at the crack of dawn, coffee brewing, water for oatmeal boiling, dog barking, tv blaring, trying to wake up.

Performance Comments:
WELL!!! Can I just say the Clearwater Beach bridge is BRUTAL!!!!!! This was by far my personal worst 5K performance (with the exception of my very first 5K - which doesn't count). But the Iron Girl is a really fun event and I'm thrilled to have participated. I'm also glad our team had such a big group for the race, and also extra team members (mainly men) that came out to watch and cheer us on. Thanks peeps!

What Would You Do Different?
Next year, I'm doing the 10K, and not gonna let the clock wear me down, and I'm determined to beat that bridge.

Post Race Activities and Cool Down:
Chowed down on the yummy goodies- though not on my diet- hee hee. And managed to make it back to the finish line to watch my mentors cross the finish from the 10K. Lots of pics, lots of hugs and high fives- the perfect end to race agony.

Event Comments:
I like the venue of Coachman Park and running the bridge. It's very scenic, and a great challenge. I highly recommend it to all women.

Would You Do This Race Again?
Absolutely- 10K next year.
