Pre-Race Routine and Warm-Up:
stretching exercises and 1/4 mile slow jog

Performance Comments:
Overall good run. Planned on running first half just over 2 hours and ran it in 2 hours and 3 minutes. Felt strong 2nd half although I ran out of salt tabs and gel with 8 miles to go, developed cramp in right knee with 2 miles to go, walked 1/2 mile and massaged knee and was able to finish last 2 miles slowly at 10 min/mile pace.

What Would You Do Different?
Take more gel and salt tabs. Start 2nd half with a quicker pace.

Post Race Activities and Cool Down:
Mile to mile and one half slow walk.

Event Comments:
Very well organized but no gel at last water station.
